| Educational Technologies (EDUTE'09) |
 The 5th International Conference on Educational Technologies (EDUTE'09) is organised by the World Scientific and Engineering Academy (WSEAS). Conference will be held from 1-3 July 2009. I will be presenting the 2nd Plenary Lecture with the title, Learner Continuum Technology Enhanced Learning Model via Technogogy.

| Technogogy 2.0 |
 I have finally done it. I have been wanting to this for a long, long time.
I have set up Technogogy 2.0 on Ning with the intention of highlighting the application and operationalisation of the concept of technogogy.
Colleagues have contacted me to say that the concept of technogogy is applicable to the learning activities that they are developing. I have been convinced of this for some time, and that this has been manifested under different names such as personalisation and the individual learning environment.
I was invited by Gilly Salmon from the Beyond Distance Research Alliance (BDRA) at the University of Leicester as a speaker at the Learning Future's Festival on the 8th of January 2009. Naturally I presented technogogy with an extension to the creation of a repository and a directory of learning objects. The presentation was kind of reviewed in a blog by Nitin Parmar who attended my session.
Anyone keen on exploring Technogogy can join Ning or get in touch wth me for further discussion.

| Technology is here to stay .. |
| Wow, how time flies ..didn't realise I left this blog for that long. I will just summarise the year 2008 in very simple terms. Basically it will be in terms of what I discovered by attending several eLearning Seminars and Conferences. What I discovered left me rather puzzled .. what has happened along the way, I ask myself? |
